PHP Automobiles (PHPA) is a Bangladeshi automotive company which is active in automotive assembling, distribution, sales & marketing. It is a part of PHP Family which is one of the largest conglomerate groups in Bangladesh founded by Alhaj Sufi Mohammed Mizanur Rahman. PHP Automobiles started assembling brand new Proton cars since 2017 branded as Proton. The company is headquartered in PHP Business Square, 542, Asian Highway, Sholokbahar, Bahaddarhat, Chittagong along with a manufacturing automobile factory. They offer motorcycles: PHP Super, PHP Pride and PHP Merkaba.
History
In 2015, The then Honorable Prime Minister and The Prominent Malaysian leader Mahathir Bin Mohamad was invited as a special guest to a program at University of Information Technology and Science.[1] He (Mahathir Bin Mohamad) approached The Then Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the honorable Chairman of PHP Family to start an automotive business[2]. Following the invitation, PHP Family authorities visited the factory of Proton Cars in Malaysia. After that, PHP Family established a car manufacturing factory on a land of 4.5 lakhs square feet in Chittagong and started full operation from March 2015. From 2019, the factory had been continuing at full volume. It is capable of assembling 1,200 units of cars in a year.
PHP Automobiles captured 20% of the sedan market share in Chittagong city in Bangladesh[3]. Company's Managing Director's motto to promote "Made in Bangladesh" cars has been the core inspiration for the engineers and employees of PHP Automobiles.

PHP Automobiles started their assembling, distribution, sales and marketing of Proton cars – sedan, SUV, micro-bus etc[4].
PHP Motorbikes is a sister concern of PHP Automobiles and it offers motorbikes of different kinds[5].
