PLOScast is a monthly interview audio podcast hosted by Public Library of Science (PLOS) staff researcher Elizabeth Seiver. Episodes range in length from 35–60 minutes and consist of in-depth conversations with innovators in Open Access, scientific publishing, scholarly communications,[1] and related fields.[2][3]
Guests have included Ivan Oransky of Retraction Watch, Alice Meadows of ORCID,[4] Hilda Bastian of NCBI, Konrad Förstner and Matthias Fromm of Open Science Radio,[5] Tracy Teal of Data Carpentry,[6] and historian Aileen Fyfe of University of St Andrews.[7]

Each episode includes a short introduction at the top, followed by a detailed interview-style discussion.
