PSafe is a digital security provider in Latin America, operating in the cybersecurity market for more than a decade. Psafe is of Brazilian origin, and was founded in 2010 by Marco DeMello and Ben Myers.
In 2021, PSafe merged with Brazilian artificial intelligence (AI) startup CyberLabs, becoming part of the CyberLabs Group..[1].
Operating in Brazil[2] and the United States[3], PSafe has more than 6 million active users, including individuals and companies, in addition to running a cybersecurity research laboratory in Latin America, the dfndr lab.
Among the B2C security solutions developed for individual consumers, dfndr security is the main product. The dfndr security application is an antivirus solution that protects against virtual scams, such as WhatsApp Cloning; it also provides alerts about digital threats in real time; and offers tools for cleaning and improving the performance of devices with Android and iOS systems.
PSafe also has a B2B solution, designed to ensure cybersecurity and corporate data privacy. dfndr enterprise offers protection for small and medium-sized businesses against digital threats causing enterprise data leaks. The solution also offers free checks including a “Leak Checker”, which scans the entire Internet to identify if a company has already suffered a leak. They also offer an “Intrusion Test”, which analyzes the vulnerabilities in digital infrastructures, and indicates the points most susceptible to hacker attacks.
The dfndr line also offers the following specific solutions: dfndr performance, dfndr battery and dfndr vpn.

Solution to prevent corporate data leaks. It was developed to help small and medium companies improve their digital security. The solution monitors and identifies risks of digital threats that can cause data leakage, significantly reducing the chances of companies being penalized by the high fines of the LGPD (General Data Protection Law). It is capable of detecting and blocking virtual scams in real time, using advanced behavioral analysis techniques, heuristics and real-time artificial intelligence. The solution also sends weekly security reports for monitoring, and performs biweekly analysis of companies' websites and infrastructure. Currently, dfndr enterprise supports Android, Windows, iOS, macOS, and Chrome, Firefox, and Edge browsers.
