The Portland Urban Architecture Research Laboratory (PUARL) is a program founded by University of Oregon associate professor Hajo Neis in 2007, within the College of Design. It holds or co-sponsors annual conferences on urban architecture. In 2018, it was hosted jointly with the Pattern Languages of Programs computer science conference. [1] [2]
