Pacific Dub is a reggae rock band founded in 2008 and based in Huntington Beach, CA.[1] The group consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Colton Place, lead guitarist Hunter Porter, drummer David Delaney, and bassist Nathan Ueda.[1]
History[edit]
Pacific Dub was formed in 2008 by founding members Colton Place, Bryce Klemer, Ryan Naglich, David Delaney, and Justin Quaress.[2] The band's first extended play, First Drop, was released in March of 2009, with their first live performance following later that month. In August of 2009, the band released their first full-length album, Fire Eye, which was followed by their second extended play, To The Sky, in April of 2010. After continuing to write music and tour throughout 2011, the band released their second full-length album, Tightrope, in June of 2012. Following two years of touring in 2013 and 2014 and the release of The Summer Singles in May of 2014, the band underwent a period of reorganization.[2] In 2016, the newly reorganized band headed back to the studio to write their third extended play, Take Me Away, which was released in February of 2017 and reached No. 3 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart.[3] The band's third full-length album, Guide You Home, is expected to be released in May of 2018.[4]
