Fashion Design[edit]
Paige Ring began her career attending Dalhousie University for historic costume design, blending the techniques with a minimal aesthetic for ready-to-wear fashion at Tevrow + Chase.[2] She then went on to design a brand acquired by Walmart Canada, subsequently incorporated into the George brand.[3]
Abstract Art[edit]
Ring’s transferred her trademarked style of applying detailed techniques to a minimalist aesthetic, using bold and gestured strokes with a limited palette.[4] She is known for emphasizing the textural qualities of her work, intentionally drawing the observer to wonder what the paintings feel like.[5]
Her work gained mainstream popularity from coverage of viral videos documenting her process,[1]
