Pandu Sastrowardoyo (born June 2, 1984) is an entrepreneur, consultant and blockchain activist who is known for providing education and advocacy about the blockchain industry. She is also CEO at DeBio Network, NFT Curator at Unique One, and was chairman and co-founder of Blockchain Zoo.[1][2][3][4][5]

Childhood and Education[edit]

She is the daughter of the couple Aswin Sastrowardoyo and Ika Sarawati Sulandjari Sarah. Her basic education was at Tarakanita II Elementary School, then continued to State Junior High School 1 Samarinda, and graduated from State Senior High School 3 Bandung in 2003. Her higher education was completed at Environmental Engineering, Bandung Institute of Technology.

Although she never attended formal education as a programmer, she has studied programming since the age of 6 which prompted her interest in the information technology industry, which eventually led her to the world of blockchain.[6]

Career and Business[edit]

After finishing college, she worked at IBM and Procter and Gamble, at P&G, from 2008 to 2011 she mostly handled marketing, and after moving to IBM, she took care of sales and eventually took her to become Territory General Manager.[7]

In 2016 she decided to build Blockchain Zoo and became chairwoman. In 2018, she was trusted to become the Supervisory Board of the Indonesian Blockchain Association, as well as co-founder. In the same year she also became Executive Advisor at Blocksphere. Then she became the Chief Executive Officer at DeBio Network and NFT Curator at Unique One in 2021.[6][8]

DeBio Network[edit]

DeBio Network is the first anonymous medical and biomedical platform for users who wish to require medical tests and samples from home. DeBio is built on Substrate, the blockchain framework behind the Polkadot & Kusama ecosystem. DeBio blockchain network will become the AppChain on the Octopus network, the substrate relay on the NEAR Protocol. The Kilt protocol is an open source blockchain protocol, part of the Polkadot and Kusama ecosystem built on Parity Technologies' Substrate development framework. deBio Network and the Kilt Protocol collaborated to include KILT Credentials in the DeBio Network platform.[9]

With the corona virus pandemic, the need for biomedical tests is becoming increasingly necessary. The DeBio Network platform guarantees that user data will remain private and if desired it can even be monetized by the users themselves without losing their identity privacy through the use of web3 technology. The idea was welcomed and DeBio raised an investment of $850,000 which was divided into three investment rounds.[10]

On November 15, 2021, DeBio Network won the CNBC Indonesia Awards 2021 for the category CNBC Indonesia Awards 2021.[11] At the leading blockchain conference ETHDenver in February 2021, DeBio / Degenics was also named the winner of Best Use of IPFS for Identity and also the winner of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) for the completely anonymous home DNA testing market.[9]

Realitychain.io is a multi-chain social metaverse that provides an easily accessible metaverse experience. This service was one of the early pioneers of the metaverse which can be accessed from any device and effectively allows users to interact in parallel with real-world activities on September 24, the project won the NEAR MetaBUIDL Hackathon in the Play Hacks category and received a $30,000 development prize.[12]
