Pantelija "Pante" Božić was an important Serbian commander in the seventeenth century.
Pantelija Božić rose to maturity during the most turbulent times of the seventeenth-century when the Great wars were taking place. First, he was a commander of Serbian militia in Petrovaradin in 1695, then in Titel in 1699, and in 1704 he emigrated to Imperial Russia.
