Lower Saxonian State Medal
The Lower Saxonian State Medal is a civil medal of merit presented by the Minister President of Lower Saxony to personalities for outstanding services and contributions to the State of Lower Saxony. Persons that receive it are always bearer of the Grand Cross of the Lower Saxony Order of Merit.
Look, Composition and wearing[edit]
The Medal is made out of silver and has a diameter of 75mm. On the obverse it has the Lower Saxonian Horse (German: Niedersachsenross) and on the reverse there is written:
FÜR
VERDIENSTE
UM
NIEDERSACHSEN
which means "for merits to Lower Saxony". It is not possible to wear the medal like an order because it does not have a ribbon nor a clasp. Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck".
