Pantea Haghighi (born May 5, 1977) is a Canadian independent curator and founder of Republic Gallery, Vancouver, Canada. [1]
Career
Haghighi has become an increasingly influential figure in Canadian and Vancouver fine art since opening Republic Gallery in 2006. [2]
With Republic Gallery, Haghighi has represented and shown many local and international artists. [3] including Marian Penner Bancroft and Mandana Moghaddam.
Curatorial Work
Her curatorial projects include; Unsent Dispatches from the Iranian Revolution, 1978-1979 at Presentation House Gallery (2005), Utopias Constructed series (2014-2018), where/between at Equinox Gallery (June 2016), Mirrored Explosions at West Vancouver Museum (April 2016), where/between at Southern Alberta Art Gallery (2017), and a project planned at Griffin Art Project.
