Para Ti Global or "For You Global" is a 501(c)(3) private nonprofit organization headquartered in Fairfield, CA, USA.[2][3] According to the nonprofit's website, its mission is "to ensure that children everywhere, regardless of financial status, upbringing, background, or race have the opportunity to learn and grow." In doing so, the nonprofit hopes to facilitate an end to poverty by uplifting the young minds of the generation through quality education, medical care, and nutrition.[4]

The nonprofit has an NTEE code of Q99, meaning it is designated by the IRS as a nonprofit whose activites focus on International, Foreign Affairs, and National Security N.E.C.[5][6]

The nonprofit holds feeding programs in the Philippines, mission trips to Mexico, and carries out numerous special projects every year including toy programs for children and a recent project to provide personal protective equipment for families in need.[7][8][9]

History[edit]

Para Ti Global was formed in 2016 by Luke and Sophia Anderson after visiting families who lived in the landfill of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.[10][7]

Luke and Sophia Anderson had been doing service work in Mexico starting in 2014[10], but did not found the nonprofit until February 22, 2016[6].

The name of the organization comes from a boy that received ice cream from Luke and Sophia Anderson during an informal mission trip. Luke and Sophia Anderson gave out ice cream to several children and the boy went up to Sophia Anderson and said, "Esto es para ti." which inspired the name "Para Ti Global".[11]

The nonprofit's orginal start in Mexico expanded. The nonprofit now hosts feedings in the Phillipines, focusing on extremely poor areas within the country such as Taguig, Philippines.[7]
