Parascience
Parasciences are disciplines that see themselves as science, but are not counted as one. It usually concerns research into supernatural phenomena. Martin Mahner proposed the term parascience could be used to encompass a broad category of academic disciplines that are not strictly engaging in scientific inquiry and therefore "non-scientific practices" that are not strictly "pseudoscientific". Examples of parasciences may include:
The Dutch professor Dr. Hans Gerding stated: "I hope to experience that parapsychology can be abolished, because it has been incorporated into psychology."[1]
