History[edit]

In February 2016, in Kyiv, Ukraine there was a patent taken out on the parasol for car interior (patent UA 105044)[1][2][3] Ukrainian engineer Oleg Gurovych created parasol for car interior that was acknowledged as the worlds’ first invention. First prototype was created from paper Cocktail umbrella that was cut and helped to understand that trapeze and flat shape of canopy was possible to produce. After many experiments with prototype, developments and engineering the parasol is now manufactured under the Trade Mark “CAR-O-SOL”.
