High school career[edit]
Clark played basketball for Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, New York for four seasons. As a freshman, she averaged 10.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game, leading her team to a Class AAAA state title. For her sophomore, she averaging 17.1 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game. As a junior, Clark averaged 19.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. For her senior season, Clark averaged 25.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 4.0 steals and 2.5 blocks per game. She received as New York Gatorade Player of the Year. Clark was selected to play in the McDonald's All-American Game and the Jordan Brand Classic,
Recruiting[edit]
Clark was considered a five-star recruit and the number 21 player in the 2022 class by ESPN.[1] Clark had verbally committed to UCLA on April 10, but on December 13, 2021, she committed to Arizona over scholarship offers from Stanford, Oregon and South Carolina.
