Paris twins

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Paris twins are Courtney and Ashley Paris, known for their achievements in basketball. They were born September 21, 1987. Their father is former San Francisco 49ers lineman William "Bubba" Paris.[1] They both play in the Women's National Basketball Association, and compete in European leagues during the offseason.[2]

Both Courtney and Ashley graduated from Millennium High School in Piedmont, California, to which they transferred from Modesto Christian High School at the start of the 2002-2003 year.

Courtney Paris was the starting center for the University of Oklahoma women's basketball team. She is the only player in NCAA history, male or female, to have 700 points, 500 rebounds, and 100 blocks in a season. On March 25, 2006, Courtney set the record for rebounds in a single season that was held recently held by Wanda Ford, of 534 by making it 539.

On March 29, 2006, Courtney Paris became the first freshman named to the Associated Press All-American team.[3]
