Parity.org is a nonprofit organization working to close the gender gap in business leadership. Parity.org does this primarily by asking companies to sign the ParityPledge® to commit to interviewing at least one qualified woman for every open role, VP and above, including the C-suite and the Board of Directors.[1] The ParityPledge is based on the NFL's Rooney Rule.[2]

Parity.org is supported by donations, grants, and corporate sponsorships.

The ParityPledge® has global reach, having been signed by nearly 400 companies[3] and over 380 individuals in ten countries. Parity.org is also developing a ParityINDEX®[4] to help companies measure and improve their progress to gender parity over time, allowing companies to benchmark their score against their industry and observe overall changes in their industry.

Board members include Mark Gorenberg, Josh James, Amy Kennedy, and Carolyn Magill.
