History[edit]

PARKER was formed in the winter of 2017 by brothers Devin and Patrick Parker, long time active members of the Chicago punk rock scene during their time in former band Overdrive. With a combination of previously unreleased songs and new originals they sought out the help of Adam Krier of AM Taxi and Lucky Boys Confusion to help with pre-production. After recruiting drummer Trevor Phelps, they began recording at Gravity Studios in Chicago Illinois with producer Daniel Farnsworth. PARKER's "Never Growing Old" E.P. was released July 4th 2018.[7]

After performing several live shows as a three-piece (Devin - guitar/vocals, Patrick - bass/vocals, Phelps - drums), the band decided something was missing from their live sound. Having recorded most songs with two guitar parts, long time friend and former Overdrive member Dan Wrenn was added as bassist, moving Patrick to lead guitar duty and making PARKER a four-piece band.
