Parkour Civilization
Minecraft Parkour Civilization is an episodic series created by Youtuber Evbo in 2023. The series is a web series created in the sandbox video game Minecraft. The series went viral on the Internet, with the compilation video gaining over 33 million views on Youtube. It was added to, then removed from Letterboxd which was controversial.[1][2] Its compilation video is often considered to be a Feature film by fans.[3][2]
Plot Summary
Evbo is a parkour noob that dreams of rising to the top of Parkour Civilization, but the better he gets at parkour, the more he realizes the secrets of Parkour Civilization and what he must do to save it. He learns that he is the Parkour Champion. The ranks of parkour are shown by what type of armor they wear.[2]
Reception
Parkour civilization is often compared to works like Nineteen Eighty-Four and One Piece, jokingly and seriously.[2][4] It is generally well received as a shonen anime and Dystopian fiction.[5]
