Parminder Singh Brar is president of Student Organisation of India (SOI) and he is also elected Vice President[1] of Punjab Rifle Shooting Association. in May 2017 and he was appointed to OSD to S. Bikram Singh Majithia from 2009 to 2016 and after that he was appointed OSD [2] to Sukhbir Singh Badal in 2016

Parminder Singh Brar did his Bachelor of Arts from S.C.D. Government College, Ludhiana, under Panjab University, Chandigarh in April 2003. He then did Bachelor of Laws from Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh, in the year 2007. He cleared QLTT (Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test) conducted by Oxford University, London UK in November 2008, and also holds an MBA in Finance completed in the year 2010. He also did diploma in Human rights from Washington college of Law, American University, USA IN 2009
