Particle.io (formerly Spark.io [1]) is a early stage venture company[2] that produces low cost Internet of things hardware, software, and connectivity. Its website[3] claims 40,000 developers, 170 countries, 8,500 companies, and 500,000 devices. Their product line includes:
- Argon: WI-FI + BLE + MESH
- Boron: LTE + BLE + MESH
- Electron: LTE
- Photon: WI-FI
- Xenon: BLE + MESH
In the United States, their products are sold on their online store, Adafruit, Arrow, Digi-key, Mouser, Sparkfun, Premier Farnell, and others.[4]
