Patrick "Pat" Griffin (born 1959) is a Republican political consultant[1] and strategic communications consultant. He is the Chairman Emeritus of GYK/Antler[2] and former Managing Partner of Purple Strategies New England.[3] He has advised Republicans including Chris Sununu, John H. Sununu, John E. Sununu, George W. Bush, George H. W. Bush, Judd Gregg, Mitt Romney, Charles Bass, and Lamar Alexander.[4][4]
Griffin currently serves as President & CEO of Merrimack, Potomac + Charles, a bipartisan strategic consulting firm.[5]

Griffin attended Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts, where he currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees.[6] He is a former Senior Fellow at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College[7]

Political commentary[edit]
Griffin serves as a commentator on WCVB-TV's On The Record. He has provided political commentary and analysis for Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, CBS This Morning, Bloomberg Politics, and National Public Radio. In December 2011, New Hampshire Journal named Griffin one of the "Most Wanted Republicans" in New Hampshire,[8] and in February 2016, The Washington Post named him one of the only twitter accounts to follow during the New Hampshire primary.[9]
Merrimack Potomac + Charles[edit]
Pat Griffin is currently the President and Founding Partner at Merrimack Potomac + Charles, an advertising, advocacy, public affairs and strategic communications firm in Concord, New Hampshire, and Boston, Massachusetts.[5] Prior to MP+C, Griffin was a Managing Partner at Purple Strategies New England, a boutique strategic communications firm with offices in Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Boston.[3]
