Patrick Rose, (May 23, 1960) is an American retired professional wrestler. He wrestled for Continental Championship Wrestling, Georgia Championship Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, World Wrestling Federation and Smoky Mountain Wrestling in the 1980s and early 1990s.[1]
Career
Rose made his professional wrestling debut in 1979. He made his debut for Georgia Championship Wrestling in 1980. In 1984 he won the NWA Southeastern Tag Team Championship with Arn Anderson. After Arn and Rose dropped the titles, Rose formed a tag team with his real-life cousin Randy Rose calling them the Rose Cousins. The Rose Cousins won the NWA Southeastern Tag Team Championship defeating the Rat Patrol (Steve Armstrong and Johnny Rich) on November 12, 1984. They dropped the belts to The Nightmares (Ken Wayne) and Nightmare Danny Davis on March 23, 1985.
Later in his career he worked as a jobber for World Wrestling Federation from 1989 to 1992, World Championship Wrestling from 1989 to 1994 and Smoky Mountain Wrestling from 1991 to 1994. He retired in 1994 from wrestling due to neck injuries.
He appeared on WWE's Where Are They Now? in July 2007 where he was interviewed by the company.[3]
Personal life
Since retiring from wrestling, Rose organizes fishing tournaments. He has a radio show called Set The Hook! on ESPN Chattanooga.[4]
