Patel Integrated Logistics Ltd (Commonly known as 'PATEL[1][2]') is an Indian transportation and logistics service provider. It was founded by Mr. Asgar Shakoor Patel[3] in 1959 and got incorporated in the year 1962. It is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India with a network spanning all over India.

It comprises of 5 Brands catering to various needs of logistics and boasts of being the pioneer of the multimodal transportation in India. PATEL Integrated Logistics Limited is a trusted name in the world of logistics. One of the pioneers of logistics in India. History

Birth of PATEL Roadways :

It all began with Mr. Asgar Patel driving his first truck himself - having been entrusted with his first consignment from Glaxo.[10] It was not long after this that Patel Roadways[11] evolved into a brand that evoked an emotional sentiment amongst people in India and grew to have an all over India presence. The company was incorporated on 22nd June, 1962, as a private limited company and was converted to a public listed company on 7th February, 1990.

PATEL Express (Formerly known as Patel Retail) :

To fulfil the ever changing dynamism of customers' demands, Patel Roadways[12] expanded its business to warehousing & secondary distribution, door-to-door pick-up and delivery and provision of a one-stop solution. It moved up the value chain towards the express cargo segment with the launch of its flagship product Patel Express which is a time bound service.

Launch of PATEL Airfreight (Formerly known as Patel On-Board Courier) :

Back in the 1980s, retail courier business in India grew in leaps and bounds augmenting with it a corresponding need for consolidation of cargo for the string of courier companies across India and soon Patel Airfreight[13] was launched. As part of its strategic plans, Patel Roadways and Patel Airfreight merged to become Patel Integrated Logistics Limited and later on other Brands were added to it, offering unified logistics solutions over urban & rural India. By providing a new service ranging from door pick-ups and deliveries of small packages, from the consigner to the consignee, to transportation and warehousing and as well as distribution, Patel covered the entire gamut of logistics services in India.

PATEL SOS

It is a last mile delivery service, offering a combination of online shopping with immediate product access within a day’s time in India.[15]

Caters to primary and secondary warehousing/redistribution and third party logistics services in India[16]
