Patrice Roy (born 1963) is a Canadian news anchor. He is the host of Le Téléjournal Grand-Montréal 18 h, the Radio-Canada's supper-hour newscast for the Greater Montreal region.[1]

Career as journalist[edit]

Born in Quebec, Roy appeared for the first time on Télévision de Radio-Canada in 1989 as a current affairs reporter in the program Enjeux. He then joined the newsroom in Montreal, where he covered municipal news. He has been a parliamentary correspondent in Quebec City starting in 1997, then in Ottawa starting in 2000.[2]

Since 2008, Roy anchors Le Téléjournal Grand Montréal 18 h, Radio-Canada's supper-hour newscast in the Montreal region.[1]
