Patrick Mabiiho Nyakaana (born 22 March 1968), is a Ugandan Lawyer, Lecturer and Administrator. He is the Uganda Human Rights Commission a body under Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs. He was appointed to that position on 1 June 2017.[1] Before that, from March 2011 until May 2017, he served as the Commissioner - Law Reform in the Uganda Law Reform Commission.[1]

He was born on 22 March 1968. He attended Kaboyo Primary School in Mugusu, Kabarole. Hee studied at Nyakasura School for his Ordinary Level and Makerere College School for his Advanced Level education. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Makerere University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice of the Law Development Centre, Uganda, and a Master of Business Administration, from the ESAMI Business School.
