Paul Burrowes (born June 30, 1956, New York) is an American realtor and real estate consultant.[1][2] He is a realtor at David Lyng Real Estate and also manages Zayante Sandhills Conservation Bank.[3]
Burrowes is a member of the Santa Cruz County Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and the Residential Real Estate Council.
Early life and education
Burrowes was born on June 30, 1956, in New York. He went to Holmdel High School, and then attended Brookdale Community College in 1976. He acquired an associate degree in business administration in 1978 from Brookdale Community College. After that, Burrowes studied business at San Jose State University in 1982.[4]
Career
Following his graduation from San Jose State University, Burrowes became a founding partner of the Westech companies in 1982 and served as its principal until 1999. He organized partnerships with daily newspapers, including the San Jose Mercury News, Los Angeles Times, and the Boston Globe. The same year, Burrowes co-founded an engineering and internet company in Silicon Valley, California, and published High Technology Careers Magazine and Decade. He started his career in real estate after selling his business in Silicon Valley to a national firm in 2000.
In 2004, he founded Zayante Sandhills Conservation Bank. It is an organization to preserve endangered species in Santa Cruz County region.
Burrowes founded 56 Atkinson Lane Associates in 2007 and worked with the County of Santa Cruz and Watsonville City administrations for a 40-unit housing project. He sold the project in 2012.
During his time at Atkinson Lane Associates, he also invested capital in a solar engineering business called Free Hot Water. The following year, Burrowes had memberships in several realtor associations. These associations include the Santa Cruz County Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and the Residential Real Estate Council.[5]
On February 2015, Burrowes joined Intero Real Estate Services and served as a realtor until 2017. Following his service at Intero Real Estate Services, he joined David Lyng Real Estate and continued as a realtor.
Burrowes has appeared on the front cover of Top Agent Magazine in 2021.[6]
As of 2022, Burrowes is a realtor and real estate consultant at David Lyng Real Estate and a manager at Zayante Sandhills Conservation Bank.[7][8]
Personal life
Burrowes is married to Susan Burrowes.
