Paul Stuart Thurlby (born in Nottingham England) is a London based illustrator, and has been a regular illustrator for the Guardian newspaper since he started full-time illustration work in 2006.

Paul Thurlby's Alphabet[edit]

His originality and vision has provided the public with a new take on the very familiar Alphabet Book.[1][2] Many of these reviews describe Paul Thurlby's Alphabet book, as "Highly Collectable" and describe Paul Thurlby as a "Unique Artist"[3][4]

India Knight (author and Sunday Times columnist), described Paul Thurby's Alphabet as "so ludicrously beautiful"[5]

Hot Brands And Cool Places described his book as stunning, with wonderful design.[6]

The Alphabet was initially started as limited edition prints. The book is now published throughout the world, from the US, Australia and the UK[7][8] as a hardback book, and Postcards[9] selling in such places as Paul Smith London, and the Tate Modern.
