Pawan Kachroo
Pawan Kachroo (born September 26, 1968) is an Indian-born hospitality executive based in the United Arab Emirates. Serving as Managing Director of Khamas Hospitality,[1] he oversees a portfolio of hotels and management services in the UAE and beyond.[2][3][4]
Early Life and Education
Kachroo completed a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics at the University of Kashmir before pursuing formal training in hospitality through a Diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Bhopal. In 2023, École Supérieure Robert de Sorbon, a UNESCO-certified institution, conferred on him a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Hospitality Administration and Management.
Career
Kachroo has led Khamas Hospitality for over two decades, serving as Managing Director.[3][5][6][7] Under his leadership, the group expanded its hospitality assets from AED 30 million to approximately AED 750 million and maintained an industry-leading average occupancy rate of 97%. He manages a workforce of over 1,200 employees across multiple brands and locations.
The group currently manages several hotels in the UAE, including Mama Shelter,[8] The Canvas Hotel Dubai, Marriott,[9] Sea View Hotel, MGallery,[10][11] Ascot properties,[12] and the DoubleTree by Hilton Al Jaddaf, and operates properties in Italy and the U.K., such as Thornbury Castle and Grand Hotel Campione.
