Payaza
Payaza is a Nigerian fintech company that provides payment gateway solutions for businesses across Africa.[1][2]. The company also serves to bridge the gap between technology and Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria through its hackathons.[3]
Hackathons
In December 2023, Payaza held hackathon 2.0 aimed at providing payment solutions using AI. The winners of the hackathons include Iya finance who won 5000 dollars, the first Runner-Up, NaYa won $3,000 and the second runner-up Team Enigma won $1,500 .[4] Payaza also hosted an SME Summit and a Developers Circle event following the launch of Payaza 2.0 in 2023[1]In November 2024, Payaza in partnership with United Nations Industrial Development Organization, ITPO Nigeria and Tech4dev announced the launch of the third edition scheduled to hold at a later date.[5]
