Paytm First Games is a mobile gaming platform based in India originally launched in 2018 as Gamepind.[1][2] It is a mobile gaming application with games like Fantasy Sports, Rummy, Casual games, Multiplayer contests, & Trivia Quizzes.

Paytm First Games is a joint venture between One97 Communications which operates the Paytm brand and AGTech.[3]

As of 2019, Paytm First Games claims a user base of more than 45 million.[4]

With Sudhanshu Gupta as it's Chief Operating Officer, Paytm First Games (then Gamepind) it started as an element of engagement with casual games in the Inbox section of Paytm’s application.[5]

By the end of 2017, Paytm First Games had launched a side load application with games of skill and quizzes where users could play & win cash prizes.

In July 2018, Google Play App was launched on Google Play Store.

Paytm First Games raised $20 Million in October 2019 from AGTech & One97 Communications Limited,[6] which it intended to drive growth in the platform as well as expansion into eSports.[7] In April 2020, Paytm First Games hosted a Clash Royale Tournament with participation of 11,000 gamers. They competed in numerous battles for a prize pool of Rs. 4,00,000. The finale was streamed live on the company's official YouTube Channel and garnered over 70,000 views. [8] A few days later, ESPL (Esports Players League) announced a partnership with Paytm First Games to forge its entry into Indian Esports.[9][10]

Fantasy Sports[edit]

Users can create their Fantasy Sports Team for Cricket, Football and Kabaddi Matches & win cash prizes. Based on the performance of sports players in real-life games, users win points that are later added up at the end of the match.

Rummy[edit]

Rummy is a playing-card-based game that requires its players to build melds or match cards. In rummy, two or more players come together to play a matching card game on Paytm First Games[11]

Multiplayer[edit]

These games function on a player vs player gaming format. The primary objective of these games is to beat the top scores made by other players.

Trivia Quiz[edit]

Users can choose the theme of their trivia quiz and answer questions in a multiple choice format.

In the year 2019, a total Rs. 12.59 Crores was win by a single user playing on the platform.[12]
