About

With Sudhanshu Gupta as its Chief Operating Officer, Paytm First Games (then Gamepind) started as an element of engagement with casual games in the Inbox section of Paytm’s application.[5]

By the end of 2017, Paytm First Games had launched a side load application with games of skill and quizzes where users could play & win cash prizes.

In July 2018, the Google Play App was launched on Google Play Store.

Paytm First Games raised $20 Million in October 2019 from AGTech & One97 Communications Limited,[6] which it intended to drive growth in the platform as well as expansion into eSports.[7] In April 2020, Paytm First Games hosted a Clash Royale Tournament with participation of 11,000 gamers. They competed in numerous battles for a prize pool of Rs. 4,00,000. The finale was streamed live on the company's official YouTube Channel and garnered over 70,000 views. [8] A few days later, ESPL (Esports Players League) announced a partnership with Paytm First Games to forge its entry into Indian Esports.[9][10]
