Peace TV is a nonprofit satellite television network broadcasting globally 24/7 from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Peace TV programs are all in the English language and telecast free-to-air. The CEO of Peace TV is Shariful Islam Naik. Shariful Islam Naik Joined Peace TV in January 2019 & Became CEO of Peace TV in August of 2019. He is also Currently the Founding Director & Chairman of the Peace TV Foundation. The founder and president of Peace TV is Zakir Naik, an Islamic preacher from Mumbai, India. In 2016, there was a terrorist attack in Dhaka. Militants stormed a bakery and took several hostages. After unsuccessful negotiations, special units of the police stormed the bakery. In the process, at least five terrorists, and more than 15 hostages were killed. Police later revealed, that the terrorists had been influnced by Naik's speeches[5]. These sppeches which seemed to be provocative.[6][7] Following this incident, the channel was banned in Bangladesh.[8]. In 2019, the british telecom regulatic office Ofcom ruled that Peace TV broke the rules of diffusing hate speech[9] After the 2019 Easter Bombings it was banned in India and Sri Lanka, for diffusing hate speech.[10].

Bangladeshi Preacher & Engineer, Shariful Islam Naik was Appointed & Join as the CEO of Peace TV in 2019. He is Also the Chairman of the Peace TV Foundation.
