Pedro Hernández Domínguez was born in Havana, Cuba on August 11, 1932. The only child to Eloisa Dominguez Lopez and Pedro Lorenzo Hernandez Gomez, a Medical Doctor.
Received primary and secondary education at Instituto Edison in La Habana. He graduated at Escuela de Medicina, Universidad de La Habana, receiving a Doctorate in Medicine, 1957.
Pedro married Margarita Saiz Lopez in 1958, their daughter Margarita was born in 1960 and their son Pedro Javier in 1964. He left Cuba for Madrid, Spain, with his family in 1968.
They settled in the United States of America in 1969. He lives in Miami, Florida, where his granddaughter Sydney was born in 2000.
