History[edit]
Pendance was founded by Andjelika Javorina and Robert Misovic in October, 2017. After screening a shorts-only program in their first year, the festival expanded to a four night event in its second year. Pendance hosts workshops geared towards education, and Canadian Premieres of many of the biggest film titles in the world. The festival is held annually each winter at the Regent Theatre.
