Per Hauber (born August 28, 1977 in Konstanz, Germany) is a German-Swedish music manager. From 2006 he was Head of Marketing at Universal Music Classics & Jazz. Since 2019 he has headed the classical division of Sony Music Entertainment from New York and Berlin as President Sony Classical.[1]

Since 1997 Hauber has worked as a freelance musician in Berlin, e.g. with the Berlin Philharmonic and conductors such as Mariss Jansons and Kent Nagano. In 2002, Hauber completed a music degree at the Berlin Hochschule der Künste. In the same year he began his music management career at Universal Music in Hamburg. In the following years he developed the classical music party series "Yellow Lounge".[2] Prominent DJs like Neil Tennant (Pet Shop Boys) meet classical music stars like Helene Grimaud, Misha Maisky and artists like Sting.[3]

In September 2011 he moved to Sony Classical International and began working with artists such as Jonas Kaufmann, Igor Levit, Teodor Currentzis and the Vienna Philharmonic[4]. In 2019, Hauber was appointed President Sony Classical based in New York and Berlin and has since also headed Sony Music's global classical music business[5]. In 2020, Hauber founded the label XXIM Records for progressive instrumental music there.[6]
