Peroni S.p.A. is a company headquartered in Gallarate, Italy that manufactures cycloramas, theater drapes and stage curtains and other materials for scenography.
History
Peroni established a weaving mill in Gallarate in Lombardy in the late 1700s.[1] In the early 1900s its production shifted from cotton and linen blankets to large cotton fabrics for scenic painting like canvas and later cotton tulle. Around 1980 Peroni also started manufacturing vinyl projection screens and rear-projection screens used for stage lighting by theatrical shows. The company continues to be owned and managed by the founding family.[1]
