There is ongoing systematic persecution of Christians in the North Korea.
The Kim regime criminalizes all religion in general, but has focused primarily on the country's Christian minority. Many Christians have been executed, tortured, and detained in concentration camps by the Government.[1] One North Korean defect claimed to have seen a North Korean publicly executed in front of 1,000 people.[1] The Government also dehumanizes Missionaries, portraying them as the servants of the Americans.[1]
