Peru IX
Peru-IX (Peru Internet Exchange) is a carrier-and-datacenter neutral Internet Exchange Point (IX) situated in Lima, Peru. It was founded in 2018 under the name of PIT Peru sac. It's the largest Internet Exchange in Peru in terms of maximum throughput of 250 Gbit/s (Gigabits per second) in February 2021.[1]. In addition to the Peru IX in Lima, Peru IX operates Internet Exchange Points in Arequipa. It was previously known as PIT Peru sac, in 2021 the name was changed to the current one.
Since 2020 it hosts a node for Peru of the anycast LACTLD project[2]

Peru Internet Exchange community comes from all around the world[3]. Any organization which owns an Autonomous System Number (also known as ASN) can be connected to Peru-IX. The connected members of the Internet exchange point have various profiles:
