Location and Concession

The NWO concession is situated about 60 km north of Ras Gharib and 15 km east of Ezz El Orban. It is surrounded by other fields such as Tanka East-3, October North J, and Issran.

The field was originally awarded to Arabian Oil Co. Ltd. (AOC) in 2004 under Law No. 151/2005. Its original area was 185 km², later reduced to 27 km² by 2023.
