Philip Noone (born 17 November 1986) is a traditional Irish singer from Cavan, Ireland. He was a finalist on RTE Talent Show You're A star in 2004 and X factor UK on ITV.[1] He is best known[citation needed] for his 2018 single The Galway Shawl, as well as for Galway Bay which was recorded using Arabic instruments in Doha, Qatar.[2]
