Omogbolahan Sodiq Ilabode (born 1997), known professionally as Picazo Rhap , is a Nigerian singer and Rapper. He was signed to YBNL Nation in 2018[1][2] but left the label in July 9, 2019.[3][4]
Early life and career
Picazo Rhap grew up singing and rapping while in secondary school. He is studying Mass Communication at Lagos State University.
In 2018, Picazo Rhap posted a viral freestyle to Chinko Ekun's track "Able God". The post caught the attention of Olamide who flew him to Lagos to offer a record deal.[5] He signed a record deal with YBNL Nation.[6] Picazo Rhap released the Afrobeat track "Macaroni" on December 15, 2018; it was produced by Pheelz [7]
YBNL exit
In 2019, Picazo Rhap confirmed his exit from YBNL Nation on Twitter, where he wrote, "Thanks for the support, platform, I appreciate you endlessly, I thank you deeply."[8]
New Record Label
Picazo Rhap is currently signed under Senior Boyz Records owned by Pale Isreal Farinmade.[9] He also released his first single under the label titled “Pray For Me”[10] The video to ”Pray For Me” was directed by TG Omori.[11]
