Piercing Mildred
Piercing Mildred was a multi-player web game popularizing the 1990s subculture fascination with piercing, tattoos and scarring. The Web site was essentially a virtual tamagotchi that players around the world competitively decorated for a weekly prize. The name was a play on the film Mildred Pierce.
The game was conceived of by Dave Skwarczek, founder of Streams Online Media Development to showcase the firm's capabilities and later created Bzots in 2006.
