Pigeon feeding

Pigeon feeding is the activity of feeding pigeons, especially feral pigeons, often as a hobby. The practice is controversial, as feral pigeons in cities are often seen as pests, and several jurisdictions have passed laws banning people from feeding them. Despite this, the practice remains a popular pastime. Many feral pigeon populations have come to rely upon humans for food, and there have been notable pigeon population drops in jurisdictions after feeding bans have been put into effect.
