Plot

Latifah lives happily with her husband and their son, who has ADHD. However, her husband's death upends her life. She has to take care of her child alone and manage the educational foundation left by her husband. In order to adapt as the new chairperson of the foundation, two people from the central foundation in Surabaya comes to help her manage it. The two men are Arman and Sidik. Arman, who is the head of the education division at the central foundation, turns out to be Latifah's former lover, whom she had last met 11 years ago. Their closeness reignites old feelings that had long been buried, while also sparking unpleasant gossip in the surrounding environment. As she is about to return to Surabaya, Latifah begins to avoid Arman to prevent the gossip from getting worse. Arman himself is already married to Widya and had a child, Arum, in Surabaya.

When returning to Surabaya, Arman, who has fallen in love with Latifah, can no longer hold back his feelings and eventually confesses to Latifah and Widya. Widya feels deeply hurt by her husband and runs away from home. After receiving advice from her mother to speak calmly, Widya asks Arman to arrange a meeting with Latifah. Although she initially feels angry and unable to accept the situation, after getting to know Latifah's life, Widya begins to accept the circumstances and understand the reasons why her husband continually wants to help Latifah and Gandhi. Latifah and Gandhi's situation reminds her of her mother and her older sibling, who is also a child with special needs. In the end, Widya offers a solution and agrees if Arman truly wants to take Latifah as a second wife. Latifah faces a major dilemma, feeling uncomfortable about becoming a second wife, but ultimately accepts it.

On the day of Arman and Latifah's wedding, Gandhi briefly disappears from the house, but is soon found by Latifah and Widya. Upon returning home, Latifah explains that the wedding was not about personal desires, but about seeking Allah's paradise. Seeing Widya's kindness all this time makes Latifah decide not to go through with the marriage, and Widya says that whether they marry or not, she will always consider Latifah and Gandhi as family.

Sameh considered her role as the third person in a marriage to be challenging. She said, "I highly enjoy the challenging role because I haven't done it before, especially since I was unmarried back then. So it is rather difficult, but I enjoyed it because I can study a new character and express complex emotions. The role as Latifah is not easy."[1] She also frequently had to reshoot scenes due to breaking down from being overwhelmed by emotions from playing her character.[3]
