Piper Rockelle Smith[3] (born August 21, 2007) is an American Internet personality, singer, dancer, and actress. She is known for her role as Sky in the Brat TV web series Mani[4] and Chicken Girls.[5] As of July 26, 2021, she has over 9.8 million subscribers and over 2.2 billion views on her eponymous YouTube channel.[6]
Early life
Piper Rockelle was born on August 21, 2007, in Georgia[3] and raised by her mother, Tiffany, and her two brothers, Tyler Ray Hill and Hunter Ray Hill. Smith and her mother run a cat rescue that has taken in over 100 cats. When she was five years old, Smith became interested in pageants and began participating in pageant shows.
Internet career
Rockelle’s YouTube channel was created on November 28, 2016,[7] with her first video, Piper Rockelle creates Fluffy Slime, being uploaded the next day. That same year, she began using the now-defunct application, musical.ly. Eventually, she started using Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
Rockelle's mother, Tiffany R. Smith, manages her eponymous company, Piper Rockelle Inc, which is responsible for scripting and filming the content posted to Rockelle's YouTube channel. In January 2022, 11 former members of Rockelle's YouTube "Squad" (including two of her cousins) filed a lawsuit against Piper Rockelle Inc. The lawsuit alleged that Smith had created "an emotionally, physically and sometimes sexually abusive environment" during the time that members of the Squad filmed with Rockelle for her YouTube channel. A Los Angeles Times investigation found that Smith frequently did not compensate other children who appeared in videos with Rockelle, may have violated California labor law regulating work conditions of "kidfluencers", and engaged in inappropriate behavior around underage children.[8] In response to these allegations, YouTube has demonetized Rockelle's channel.[8]

In addition to watching over a small army of cats, Rockelle loves to sing. And, in 2019, Rockelle entered the music scene and released her debut single, "Treat Myself." Maybe all these Brat TV stars will make a super band in the future.
