Pir Muhammad Iqbal

Pir Muhammad Iqbal (who uses the pen name Iqbal Ahmad) is an Indian museum curator and writer on Kashmiri topics.

Career

Iqbal has worked both as an assistant curator in SPS Museum in Srinagar and as a writer. Topics he has written about include the history and archaeology of Kashmir,[1][2][3] and heritage.[4][5]

Based in Jammu and Kashmir (union territory), he has worked as an archeologist, numismatist. Publications include: Kushans in Kashmir, Kashmir inscriptions, and Kashmiri coinage,[6] and archeology.[7][8][9]
