Pisawa is a town and a Nagar Panchayat in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh, India.[1]

According to Census 2011 information the location code or village code of Pisava village is 121879. Pisava village is located in Gabhana Tehsil of Aligarh district in Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated 24km away from sub-district headquarter Gabhana and 47km away from district headquarter Aligarh. As per 2009 stats, Pisava village is also a gram panchayat, under Chandaus block.[2]

As of 2011 India census, Pisawa had a population of 11,960. Males constitute 53.3% of the population and females 46.7 % . Pisawa has an average literacy rate of 74.64%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 87.05%, and female literacy is 60.65%. In Pisawa, 15.43% of the population is under 6 years of age.[3]
