The first store of Pista House was opened in 1997 by Mohammed Abdul Majeed with its first branch in Shalibanda, Hyderabad. Pista house has 30 outlets in Hyderabad and 6 outlets in USA[2]. [6]

Haleem[edit]

Pista House is one of the largest producers of Haleem in India.[7]. [8] Pista House’s Haleem is the first non-vegetarian recipe in India to be accorded the Geographical Indication (GI) status by the Government of India.[9] [10]
