Pixel Gun 3D: Battle Royale

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Pixel Gun 3D: Battle Royale is a first-person shooter multiplayer video game based off of and with similar graphics to Minecraft. Created by the developer Cubic Games, it is available for free download from the App Store, Google Play, and Windows Mobile. On Google Play alone, the game has over 50 million downloads, and 80 million across all platforms. [1]

Primary game modes[edit]

Team Fight: There are two teams, each with an equal number of players. The goal is to have the most kills on one team.

Battle Royale: The newest game mode[2]. The player has the option to go in either team or solo mode, on two different maps. Dozens of players are stranded on an island with several weapons in chests. The last player left wins, and obtains a hefty reward.

Deathmatch: Every man for himself. The player with the most points (attained from kills and kill assists) will win. The top six players get rewards.

Co-op Survival: Three to eight players are on a map fighting off a variety of simulated opponents. There is no way to lose, but the people with the most points (attained from killing the simulated enemies) will receive a small reward.

Flag Capture: There are two castles, one for each team. The goal is to steal the flags from the other castle while stopping the other team from stealing one's own. The team with the most captured flag wins.

Point Capture: Two teams compete in a complicated battle. Several bases are set up to where a player can capture points. When a player, unopposed, stands on a base for a long enough time, the player's team will claim the base, and a steady stream of points will flow through. The team with the most points wins.

Deadly Games: This game mode is a free for all. Each player starts with a chest containing weapons. With much geographical detail, players use their surroundings to surprise their opponents. A unique attribute to this mode is the capability to view other players fight after the player's death. The last player left wins.

Team Strike: A game mode with two teams, and three players on each team. The goal is to eliminate each of the enemy players in a best-of -three format.

Duel: Two players face off on a small map. They both try to get more kills, and the player who gets the most kills wins.

Siege: There are two teams, and the roles of Attacking and Defending. Each team gets the opportunity to be both. The goal is to get your team's Siege Ram farther than the other team's ram (up to the point where you can break the other team's fort).

Minigames[edit]

The Minigames are brief games in Pixel Gun, some of which are offline.

Block Crash: Players are only allowed heavy weapons, and must destroy enough of the ground to have all the other players fall. The last player left wins.

Arena: A single player mode which has a player stuck inside of an arena. In this mode, there are an infinite number of rounds and 45 monsters in a round.

Parkour: Several players are on a single map in which they have to jump over obstacles and avoid traps. The map is floating, and if a player falls off the player will respawn at their last checkpoint, which they can place throughout the game.

Extreme Run: A varient of Parkour, in which a single player may go solely forwards, and may only jump and move diagonally.

Sandbox: A type of 3D interactive social media where dozens of players use the "chat" feature to talk to each other on a map. This is the only game mode where no violence is possible.

Campaign[edit]

Campaign: This mode features the life of Pixel Man, a man living in a world recently transformed into a cubic realm. He fights off many monsters, and there is a boss at the end of each level, and cutscenes afterwards. Often, he teams up with other people living in the realm. There are four worlds in campaign for a player to explore, and three levels of difficulty.

Leagues[edit]

Pixel Gun 3D Battle Royale has a ranking system for players, called Leagues. A player is automatically placed in the Wooden League, and can move up to the Pro League if they earn enough trophies. Trophies are attained—or lossed—after every online game a player plays. A player can earn up to 50 trophies, and lose up to 25 trophies in a single game. The League System's rankings are as follows:

Wooden League: 0-599 trophies

Steel League: 600-1,199 trophies

Golden League: 1,200-1,799 trophies

Crystal League: 1,800-2,399 trophies

Ruby League: 2,400-2,999 trophies

Adamant League: 3,000-3,599 trophies

Champion League: 3,600-4,999 trophies

Pro League: 5,000+ trophies

Every League unlocks a unique set of Gun Skins, Hats, and Skins for a player to wear. However, these can only be unlocked through purchase with coins.

The Armory[edit]

The Armory is where a player buys and creates their weapons, skins, armor, hats, gadgets, and pets.

Weapons are the main part of fighting. A player can carry up to six weapons from a category at a time, and easily switch between these during a fight. The categories are Primary, Backup, Melee, Special, Sniper, and Heavy. Primary guns tend to be machine guns, and shotgun-type weapons. Backup guns tend to be smaller weapons which are ideal for mobility. Melees tend to be knife- and sword-like weapons are used in close combat with another player, especially in the map "Knife Party," which only allows for Melee weapons to be used. Special weapons are not closely related, and range from the Anime Scythe to the Witch Broom. Sniper guns are massive guns that always have scopes, and inflict massive damage on an opponent. However, there is a long pause in between every two shots. Sniper guns are ideal for large maps, especially "Sniper Forts" which only allows for Sniper and backup guns to be used. Heavy weapons are similar to Sniper guns in that they inflict large damage and take a large time to shoot. The largest difference with Heavy weapons is their explosion after every shot.

Skins are a very popular part of Pixel Gun 3D: Battle Royale. Every player has the generic "Newbie" skin, but have the option to purchase other Skins or create their own with coins. Skins also apply to certain weapon. Some weapon have the customizable option where a player can but a golden Skin over the weapon.

Armor is what a player can wear in order to have more hitpoints (there is a "heart" hitpoint meter and "armor" hitpoint meter). Armor is very expensive, and has to be purchased dozens of times in order to give maximum protection.

Gadgets are objects that can be used multiple times in a game, but must be recharged after each use. They can make a player temporarily invisible, turn into a robot, and even grow a player wings. These are helpful advantages in a close game.

Pets are a new feature in the game. They are small companions that come in many different forms, from dogs. These can inflict damage on an opponent, or even heal a player. They are hatched from eggs obtained from getting trophies.
