Plasse (also, Silver Lake)[2] is an unincorporated community in Amador County, California.
Plasse is located near Silver Lake in the Eldorado National Forest.[2] It lies at an elevation of 7287 feet (2221 m).
Silver Lake Post Office, located at Plasse, operated from 1880 to 1973, with a closure from 1890 to 1936.[2]
