Platinia is a 5-star hotel in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The hotel is part of the first mixed-use real estate project in Cluj-Napoca, combining all three forms: residential, commercial, and hotel. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
Location
Platinia Hotel is located in Cluj-Napoca near a craft mini-brewery of Ursus Breweries on 2-6 Calea Manastur. [6] [7] It is within walking distance from Cluj Arena, where Untold Festival is held, and Polivalenta Hall. [8]
Features and Facilities
The hotel has an area of about 60,000 m2 and consists of 120 suites of 60 m2 and 110 m2. Platinia offers residential, commercial, and hospitality services under the same roof.
Residential
There are two residential suites in Platinia, each having a separate balcony or terrace with facilities for smokers and non-smokers.
Commercial
The Platinia Shopping Center is one of the most visited and sophisticated shopping centers in Cluj Napoca. The Platinia Shopping Center is home to well-established clothing stores and has four restaurants providing Japanese, Italian, Argentinean, and Urban Food. It also has a library, 3 conference rooms, and one of the largest grocery stores in Romania, known as Mega Image. [9]
Penthouse
Platinia has a Penthouse on the 11th floor. [10] The hotel also features AMAGUSTO Italian restaurant and the SAKURA restaurant with Asian cuisines and services.[11] [12] [13] [14]
Awards
In 2017, Platinia was designated as the most modern hotel in Romania, and in 2018 won the "Modern and Luxury Architecture" award in the hotel category at "Romanian Top Hotel Awards".[15]
Notable visitors
Simona Halep, a Romanian professional tennis player, was the first occupant of the penthouse of the Platinia Hotel.[16]
